Commonplace things which still inspire/ excite us

· A airplane zooming past us. We still look up in hopes of catching a glimpse. What do we expect? That we will see it catch fire mid-air?
· A new toothpaste-soap. We still want to be the first ones to open the pack, and the first ones to use it. Is it going to make our teeth whiter?
· A new notebook. We get so happy seeing a new notebook. We want to start off by writing neatly on the first page, all with page number, date and name!
· The look on our face when we see a puppy, kitten or a baby. We try making faces, making cluck-cluck sounds! We get so engrossed.
· A new pair of shoes, a new shirt, jeans or anything of that sort. We want all others to know we are wearing something new, without seeming as though we are bragging!
· Get a new mail/ post card/ letter. It's a different scenario isn’t it! We get down to read it. And no matter how many times we go through this, we still get excited!
· Getting a gift. We want to open it immediately, and if we don’t want to seem too much in a hurry to open it, then we act all casual. But we still keep an eye on the pack, and the moment the guests go away, we sit down to tear the wrapping just like kids!
· Cold water flowing from taps! Awesome!
· A cold bed and a cold pillow to sleep on. Again, total heaven.
· When we are in a hurry. And we get a green signal on arriving at it.
· The smile on a face when the person just manages to catch a bus/ train/ plane in time. I mean he/she enters and zoom, the vehicle departs!
· Getting complimentary gifts, or food. Whatever it is! Isn’t that awesome!
· Hearing someone praise you, be it about anything again!
· When you prepare yourself for the worst, and then just the opposite happens!
