Lost and found

Well, just wondered. What do you do if you are in an area where you don't want to be seen? Do you stay still where you are? Or do you keep moving?

Hmmm. I think you should keep moving! This I can say, only because I have heard that if you want to be found (when you are lost), then it is said that you stay still where you are! That helps in easier and faster search.

Don't know. Can this be proved mathematically? Statistically? Just a musing...

  1. Depends on why you are in an area you don't want to be seen in!

If you have nothing to do there, you are better off moving, so that you get out of there. Also, this way, you are in that area for less time, so less chance of getting seen!

If you have some work there, then you have to stay there, right? In this case though, if you stay there, then people will eventually see you.

On another note, maybe other people also don't want to be seen. In that case, both of you will discretely avoid each other. Or maybe, if you happen to spot the other, both will be embarrassed about it and there will be an awkward silence :D
