I stare at you,
staring into oblivion.
Those sparkling eyes,
so sinful, yet so innocent.
They catch me offguard.
I try to look away
the gaze, frightening
the power, mesmerizing
the potence, feline;
I feel my eyes burn,
and yet I can’t retract.
I pity the sighted,
for not seeing this spectacle.
And as I rejoice in triumph,
I see no more.
staring into oblivion.
Those sparkling eyes,
so sinful, yet so innocent.
They catch me offguard.
I try to look away
the gaze, frightening
the power, mesmerizing
the potence, feline;
I feel my eyes burn,
and yet I can’t retract.
I pity the sighted,
for not seeing this spectacle.
And as I rejoice in triumph,
I see no more.
