Gag bag

Just wanted to try this out..!!

I have the counter on my blog. I want to see how much the word 'sex' works with respect to the blog hits my blog earns.
Right now, its 3503...

That means, that my average hits per week must be something in 5-10. Lets see how much this generates! :)

I will put up the updated statistics soon :)

Thanks a lot... Sorry for the disappointment..! :P

Yaah! I have heard of you,
Well who hasn’t, actually.
You are the one who just presented the paper on parallel lines,
Ushered in a new era in mathematics, says Geometry.

Your name keeps coming up, just about everywhere I see,
The television, the internet, YouTube, the torrents.
Your photos are in the newspaper (they cut short the sports section! x-( )
It’s like you have trapped the world in your enchantments.

Frankly speaking,
I just don’t care.
Do you really believe that I am jealous?
Are you really that unaware?

From where I look,
You and me, we aren’t that different, you see
after all, you are no superhuman,
you still got to pee.

The coming generations of students will say it all,
while trying to decipher your geometrical game.
Remember how you had cursed Newton,
When Physics had blasted you into the hall of shame?

I can live without your theorem,
So can the people around me, quite easily.
You know, I wouldn’t even mind much,
If it weren’t for that crazy attitude, you silly.

It’s like you have moved to a new world,
you have given us all a sack.
For a man of such stature and wit,
Your memory is certainly a drawback.

Today, it’s your day. Enjoy and bask in the glory,
But pride hath a fall, and I am not being just folklory.
Soon the media will find something new,
and they will turn their back on you.

Alone lost, I can see you just as if it were yesterday,
But it’s a pity you didn’t learn from your earlier crime.
But my dear child, I will be here with open arms,
Just like the last time.

Love,
Dad

Just like a child, who trust his father dear
And who delight, to feel his presence near
Just like a child, whose mind has not a doubt
And whose heart is never proud.

Hear I come, o lord
Hear I come just like a child
Hear I come, o lord
Hear I come just like a child

Just like a child, so weak he cannot stand
But who holds firm and tight his mother's hand
Just like a child, who sings in bright daylight
Fearing not the long dark night.

Just like a child that guilty deeds oppress
With mind and heart in trouble and distress
who throws himself into his mother's arms
Sure she'll free him from his qualms.

Well its been 2-3 months since after coming to the US, and there are a few things I have begun to appreciate. Let's go over a few I can recall:

1) No one judges you over here. You can dance on the streets, laugh out loud, be loud about your emotions, talk as if there isn't anyone around. Talk on ANY subject and still have no one look at you with eyes and ears wide open (except maybe on color, where you might end up getting killed).
2) Everyone greets you. However hollow it might be, it still feels good to be greeted and recognized.
3) There certainly IS dignity of labor. You might end up getting taught by the same person who just poured your coffee a few hours ago.
4) People recognise your capability and your limitations. No one expects too much and hence the pressures on you reduce.
5) There is always a learning curve. Stagnation is very limited. And if there is any, I haven't encountered it as yet.
6) Everyone eats the same junk and hence you aren't the only odd one out.
7) Still topping the list is that you can be expressive. :-)

A glimpse into those pieces,
I once held together as one.
Reminds me of those special days,
into which today, for eternity I could gaze.

A smiling face glistens past one,
a shadow of a face I know.
Where have all the moments gone,
on whom I tightly held onto?

Last time I saw them,
they were alive, beaming and gleaming.
Today, I am not so sure,
is it just me or am I dreaming?

Ah! A crystal ball drops by,
with a flourish it unveils the future.
Oh wait! Am I ready to see this?
Of this I am not so sure!

What I want to see, what I wish to have,
may or may not be there.
Do I want to hurt myself
even without being over there?

Fascinated though I am,
at the prospect of seeing something I could.
But wouldn’t it just be more enthralling,
to actually live through something that good?

Today I have a thought,
its not actually true.
Its just something I wish it to be,
which has stuck onto me like glue.

However much have the little pieces been exposed.
Howmuchever sun and rain they bore.
I know some things for certain when I can say,
That though weathered, they are still the ones I adore!
